The Detail
Savanna Lodge is an exclusive 5-star retreat located in the famed Sabi Sand Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park Conservancy. Known for frequent Big Five sightings—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—it's common to encounter all five on a single game drive. The lodge features nine luxurious suites, including seven with tented roofs, combining colonial elegance with modern amenities like private patios, plunge pools, outdoor showers, air conditioning, and well-stocked minibars.

Executive Suites
These three suites offer an authentic safari experience with canvas roofs, large bathrooms, and private patios with heated plunge pools overlooking the bush. They provide a peaceful sanctuary after thrilling game drives.
Luxury Suites
The four Luxury Suites are nestled among indigenous trees, offering a romantic, intimate setting. These suites feature en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and private decks with heated plunge pools and views of the bush and waterholes, perfect for a secluded getaway.

Long stay
Stay a minimum of two nights at Savanna in an Executive Suite combined with a minimum of two nights at one of the Dulini lodges (Dulini Moya, Dulini Leadwood or Dulini River) and receive a 10 per cent discount on accommodation at both properties, together with a safari transfer between the lodges. Returning guests receive 15 per cent off their accommodation on a minimum three-night stay, with previous travel dates required to confirm the discount; the reduction applies only to the returning guest's accommodation and not to others travelling in the same party. Both offers are subject to availability and cannot be combined with each other or with a full camp booking.

Children under 8 are not accommodated at the main lodge. Two carve-outs apply: (1) when the whole camp is booked on an exclusive-use basis, or (2) when the Savanna Suite (family villa) is booked — children of all ages are then welcome. The full Savanna Suite booking includes a private Land Rover, private dining, and waiter in attendance. A private vehicle is otherwise bookable on request at additional cost (R18,950/day in 2026; R20,845/day in 2027) but is not specifically tied to family bookings. A childminder is available at all times.

She put together what became an absolutely incredible African trip for us in the space of barely three weeks, and from the outset her responsiveness, knowledge and genuine enthusiasm were exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, responses were almost immediate, and she very quickly understood exactly what we were looking for, our expectations and the way we like to travel. More than simply being an expert at what she does, Jolene genuinely cared about making the trip special for us, and that came through in every aspect of her planning. What particularly impressed us was the flexibility with which she brought everything together. We already had some of our own arrangements in place, including international flights and staying with friends in Cape Town, but Jolene seamlessly incorporated those into the overall itinerary and still organised all the surrounding logistics and transfers. The safari component she designed was outstanding, taking us through Kruger, Victoria Falls, Chobe and the Okavango Delta, before finishing in Cape Town and the Stellenbosch wine region. Every part flowed beautifully and the lodges, experiences and logistics were exceptional. Just as importantly, Jolene stayed in contact throughout the trip at all the key moments, which made travelling so much easier. She would check us in for our internal flights and send through the boarding passes, confirm transfers the day before each pick-up, and make sure everything was in place before we ever had to think about it. That attention to detail, and the fact that she was always one step ahead, removed so much of the usual travel stress and allowed us simply to enjoy the trip. It was genuinely the trip of a lifetime, put together in an extraordinarily short timeframe, and Jolene deserves enormous credit for making it all happen. We could not recommend her highly enough."
