Set against the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range, Shiduli Private Game Lodge offers a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, perfect for a getaway with children of all ages. The lodge combines elegance with exceptional hospitality, featuring lush gardens, shaded lounges with internet access, a bar, a large pool, and thatched dining areas adorned with South African art. Spanning over 9,000 hectares of diverse landscape, including three rivers and towering trees, Shiduli is home to the Big 5 and a variety of smaller wildlife and birds.

Child rates
Children 0–2 years stay complimentary (reserve fees payable). Children 3–11 years pay 50% of the adult tariff when sharing a family unit with adults (subject to availability). Children 12 years and older pay the full adult tariff. No triple room requests accepted.
Notable exceptions
- Children of all ages are welcome to stay at Shiduli Lodge (the under-12 restriction at sister camp Kuname Main Lodge and under-6 restriction at Becks Safari Lodge do not apply here). On game activities, children under 4 are not permitted on game drives. Children aged 4–5 years may participate at the discretion of lodge management after an on-site evaluation, or with a private vehicle (subject to availability and at extra cost) — however, the 2026 rate sheet notes that securing a private vehicle will not guarantee leniency on the under-6 policy and prior approval by Directors may be required. Children 6 and older may join scheduled drives. Bush walks remain strictly 16+. The Little Paws Programme (under 12s) and babysitting are available at additional cost.
