Spitzkoppen Lodge is not a traditional game-drive property; activities include guided walks, guided drives, sunset drives, cycling tours and mountain hikes. Two of the 15 chalets sit closer together and are linked by a short walkway to form a family chalet, described as suitable for older children — each retains its own private bathroom and viewing deck. Safety caveat: elevated walkways and an unfenced pool mean children must be supervised at all times, and the lodge states it is "not suitable for children under six years old." Note: a Booking.com aggregator listing references a minimum age of 7, which contradicts the supplier's own rate sheet (and safari.com. Expert Africa); the supplier minimum age of 6 has been retained.

With Anja and Denise across the team.
"We had a wonderful experience booking with Safari.com. The whole team (advisor, insurance, concierge, payment) is so professional and the process so smooth. We had the best travel advisor Sara Van Coillie. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient getting to know our needs and preferences and make the best booking uniquely suited for us. She even called local visa services companies for us due to a visa issue. We’re very grateful for the wonderful support."
