Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge, located in the heart of Tarangire National Park, offers a luxurious safari experience in one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich areas. Known for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and untouched wilderness, Tarangire is a quieter yet rewarding destination on the northern safari circuit.
Children under 12 years of age (0–11 years) are not allowed to stay alone in a tent. At least one guest must be 12 years or older.
Spacious tents are constructed with locally sourced materials and feature private balconies, mosquito-screened doors, and ensuite bathrooms with premium furnishings. Large netted windows allow cooling breezes while maintaining privacy. What made our experience great was working with Lana Goodwin who is an exceptional travel consultant. Previously working with another travel company and dealing with her who planned our first African Safari, we tracked her down to Safari.com which gave us great confidence knowing we were with a tireless travel agent who strived to fulfil all our expectations.
