Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest park in Tanzania and is home to abundant wildlife, particularly during the dry season when animals move into the park from Manyara and head towards the Tarangire River, which becomes the only water source. The park is famous for its large population of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing lions. It is also a bird lover's paradise, with over 550 species recorded in the park.
