Set on Kenya’s south-eastern border with Tanzania, Amboseli is a place of ever changing landscapes, from acacia woodland, giant palm forest, dusty dry lake beds, volcanic plains, to lush, cool, green swamps fed by the snowmelt of Kilimanjaro.
The property is located on a private conservancy of 3,000 acres, just five minutes from Kimana Gate, along the eastern boundary of Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m). The lodge is an eco-friendly operation set overlooking a waterhole, with fantastic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and a steady flow of wildlife, including the epic elephant herds visiting throughout the day and night. It is an oasis in the dry landscape of the Amboseli region, where you can relax in the cool, lush gardens of the lodge.
Tawi Lodge consists of 13 en-suite cottages, all situated to face Mt. Kilimanjaro. Each cottage has its own wooden-deck veranda and a fabulous view of the highest mountain in Africa, even from the comfort of your bed or your bathtub.
Spend your days exploring one of the most unique landscapes in Kenya with guided nature walks, bird walks, day and night game drives, camel walks, and bush meals. Before or after dinner, unwind by the campfire or at the very special, mobile bush bar. Leigh-Ann from Safari.com was great to work with to plan our group safari trip. She was able to get me on the priority waitlist for a lodge that I liked, which ended up working out for our group during my preferred dates. Leigh-Ann was responsive and provided various tour recommendations for us to decide on the best option for us. There were a few email and name typos from Leigh-Ann that I had to correct, but other than that, I had a great experience.

3-nights Zambia trip
I would start by saying before I started talking to Leigh-Ann Croeser I knew I wanted to go on this 3-nights adventure in Zambia with my family towards the end of this year, but I did not have any idea of how to go about planning it, thankfully Leigh-Ann responded immediately to my enquiry. Ever since I started communicating with her, she has been a very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, awesome Luxury Safari consultant who came through for me in every step of this process. She offered great advice and did a great job in customizing our itinerary and put my mind at ease in the process. She always responded quickly and gave me great advise when I needed. Dolan was terrific
Dolan was terrific. He got back to us immediately to answer all of our questions. And was so nice to hold a room for a couple of days because of my moms passing. It gave us time to finalize her arrangements and time to book our trip. I would highly recommend using him to book your trip!!

Went through Newmarket travel and Hays…
Went through Newmarket travel and Hays travel ..information about flight changes hard to get..but on arrival the holiday was taken over Safari.com..amazing ..experience everything was fine tuned and the staff ..guides drivers fabulous and friendly ..lots of knowledge..lots of fun and the surprises they did was so lovely ...loved every minute ..Paris our guide was amazing..10/10 and Eric driver ..the waiters and waitress every and everyone in the hotels .smiling and friendly..Best holiday of my life
