Child rates

Children 6–15 years sharing a Suite/Room with an adult pay 50% of the adult rate. 16+ charged adult rates and accommodated in a separate room/tent. Wilderness Botswana standard policy alternative: infants 0–2 FOC; 3–16 years 65% off off-peak / 35% off peak when sharing with adults in family rooms. JCCT CSR levy USD 50 per person per night applies from age 6.

Notable exceptions

  • Little Tubu is a Premier camp: families with children 12 years and younger are required to book and pay for private activities for the full duration of their stay, unless the camp is booked on exclusive use or they have filled a vehicle (6 guests). Children 13–16 years do not require a private vehicle. Mokoro excursions and guided walks are available from 13 years and older. The Bush Buddy programme (complimentary; specially trained staff paired with children) is offered for ages 6–12. An "Exclusive Use Offer – Book all 3 Suites & Save 20%" is available for families/groups wanting sole use; no dedicated family suite at Little Tubu itself, though sister camp Tubu Tree has a Family Suite. Note source conflict: Jao Collection 2026 rate sheet sets minimum age 6 with 50% child rate (6–15), while the Wilderness Botswana B6 rate sheet applies the standard child policy (0–2 FOC, 3–16 at 65%/35%); the lodge-specific Jao RACK sheet takes precedence.
