Lush, tucked into a wooded hillside, immerses you in the bush and the moment. Five individual, luxury suites provide the privacy of home, while the main lodge, operating with Italian hospitality, ensures you are well taken care of. Each air-conditioned suite includes a television, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, and expansive bathrooms with an outdoor shower. Private game viewing decks offer the perfect retreat to enjoy tranquillity and excellent birdwatching opportunities. Overlooking a busy waterhole, teeming with bird and animal activity—and frequently visited by elephant and buffalo—the central gathering area provides an open, expansive space designed to embrace outdoor living.

The lodge also arranges a romantic private dinner on the deck (weather permitting) or in the wine cellar (subject to availability), and a romantic turndown service during the stay. Standard minimum age is 10; this is revisable on exclusive-use bookings of the lodge, which can unlock access for younger children. Only one child (aged 10–16) may share a suite with a maximum of 2 adults, and sharing is subject to occupancy — reservations must confirm availability. No dedicated family unit or interleading rooms are advertised. Walking safaris are offered alongside game drives and hot-air balloon safaris, but no specific minimum age for walks is published.

"Very helpful with itinerary and excellent arrangements of transport from and to Cape Town, and Idubi in Sabi Sands and Lukimbi in Kruger. Although a rep for Safari.com said a letter from a doctor was not required, such a letter IS REQUIRED to go on bush walks if older than 65. Fortunately, we checked the reserve web site and had a doctor's letter."
