Where the rates above show a saving, it comes from a stay-pay or long-stay offer. Family offers are applied by your safari specialist when preparing your quote.

Stay & Pay

Stay three nights between 1 and 15 December 2026 and pay for two only. The offer applies to the nightly per person sharing rate and excludes the mandatory Conservation Levy, which remains payable per person per night.

Long stay

Longer stays are rewarded with reduced nightly rates. For travel from 1 to 15 December 2026, a two-night stay attracts a 20% discount. For travel from 1 May to 31 August 2027, a two-night stay attracts 20% off, a three-night stay 25% off and a four-night stay 30% off. In both windows the single supplement is waived on the first two single rooms per reservation, and discounts apply to the nightly per person sharing rate only, with the Conservation Levy payable in addition.

Family

Mark's Camp is the reserve's family lodge and welcomes children of all ages. Children under two years sharing with their parents stay free of charge, and children from two to eleven years in 2026, or two to fourteen years in 2027, sharing with an adult are charged at 50% of the adult rate. A reduced Conservation Levy applies to children, and room occupancy limits apply, so the Classic Family Rooms and Classic Family Suite are best suited to larger families.

"Zene was extremely helpful in steering us towards the right high-end safaris in the Eastern Cape that we were looking for, viz Shamwari and Oceana. Since my husband has fallen ill and cannot travel any longer, she has also helped us with securing some rebate from Shamwari (to follow) and has been sympathetic to our misfortune"
