The Detail
The lodge is located on a private reserve nestled between the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the southern Serengeti ecosystem, offering an incredibly exclusive experience. Limited to just 10 suites, each features a private deck, spectacular views, a large soaking tub, and an outdoor rain shower. The main lodge includes airy living spaces, a rejuvenating spa and gym, and a curated wine cellar. An expansive pool is set on a rocky outcrop overlooking natural springs below, where resident wildlife frequently comes to quench their thirst.
During the calving season in the southern Serengeti, Mwiba Lodge is in a prime position to witness the incredible spectacle of thousands upon thousands of wildebeest and their young. This is a time when fresh grass is plentiful, providing essential grazing for the next phase of their migration.

Occupancy limits per Tented Suite: max 2 adults; max 1 child (up to 15.99) sharing with 2 adults; max 2 children (up to 15.99) sharing with 1 adult; max 3 children aged 12–15.99 sharing one suite. Two pairs of suites are adjoining, ideal for families travelling together (no dedicated family tent — family tents only at sister Mila/Nyasi/Songa camps). A privately allocated safari vehicle and guide is included for every booking. Late departure options available at Mwiba Lodge only (US$80 lunch & leisure; US$250 lunch & mid-morning activity; or full night's accommodation), not available Dec 1 – Feb 28 due to rainy season.
