Discover the magic of a Kruger Safari at nThambo Tree Camp, where you’ll stay in distinctive treetop chalets nestled in the heart of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. This Big Five reserve shares open boundaries with the iconic Kruger National Park, allowing wildlife to roam freely. The Klaserie is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, offering a diverse array of fascinating bird species. To make the most of the incredible wildlife encounters, guests can enjoy two expertly guided safari drives each day.

Accommodation
nThambo Tree Camp offers an exclusive and intimate experience with just five chalets, each accommodating two guests. Chalets feature either twin or king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms, and ample storage space, ensuring comfort and convenience.
The Camp
The camp’s main area includes an open-air lounge and dining space under a thatched roof, offering stunning vistas of the surrounding reserve, a nearby waterhole, and the distant Drakensberg mountain range. Guests can also enjoy the pool and sun deck, equipped with loungers and umbrellas, making it a perfect place to unwind. Elephants are frequent visitors to the waterhole, adding to the camp's charm.
Evenings are spent in a rustic boma area, complete with a firepit and surrounded by a traditional wooden kraal. This setting captures the essence of an authentic bush camp safari experience, where guests gather under the stars to share stories of their day.
Activities
Game Drives: Enjoy two daily game drives—one in the morning and another in the late afternoon that transitions into nighttime. Conducted in open 4x4 vehicles, these drives offer unobstructed views of the wildlife and the surrounding wilderness.
Coffee Stops: Morning drives include a stop for coffee, while afternoon drives feature a sundowner break, both set in scenic open areas.
Sundowners: Relax with your drink of choice and a selection of snacks while taking in the breathtaking views as the sun sets.
Morning Bush Walks: After breakfast, you can opt for a short guided bush walk to explore the area on foot. These walks are subject to weather conditions and must be pre-arranged.
Special Occasions: For celebrations or unique experiences, nThambo Tree Camp can organize tailor-made events upon request and with prior arrangements.
