Child rates

0–6 years free of charge; 7–11 years 50% of adult rate; 12–15 years 50% of adult rate; 16+ years full adult rate. Community & Conservation Levy: USD 42 pppn for children 7–15 (under 7 exempt). Full transfer rates apply to children of all ages.

Notable exceptions

  • Nyamatusi Camp is not explicitly adults-only, but African Bush Camps directs families with children under 12 to its sister camp, Nyamatusi Mahogany, which has 2 luxury family tented suites and accepts all ages (walks and canoeing remain 16+). At Nyamatusi Camp itself, children under 6 are not permitted on shared game drives and must book a private vehicle at USD 500 per night, subject to availability. Children under 16 must share accommodation with at least one adult and must be accompanied by adults when leaving camp. Walking safaris are strictly 16+ for safety reasons. The Ngwana Club kids' programme is offered to children of all ages, but no babysitting service is available — staff can assist with child-friendly daytime activities in conjunction with the Ngwana Club.
