Phinda Zuka Safari Lodge is an exclusive-use establishment located in a private wooded area of the Phinda Reserve. This well-appointed lodge, named after the Zulu term for "sixpence," caters to your every need. The lodge offers the services of a personal game ranger and game drive vehicle, an interactive kitchen with a dedicated chef, a butler to attend to all your needs, a comfortable library with internet access and TV, a sitting room with a fireplace, a private swimming pool, and a private waterhole. With no set timetable or routine, your safari experience is completely tailored to suit your needs.
Four private bush Suites feature en-suite bathrooms with oversized baths and indoor showers, as well as private sitting areas that overlook the waterhole.
Activities offered at the lodge include twice-daily private game drives conducted in open safari vehicles, guided bush walks, Zulu village tours, seasonal night turtle drives, scuba and ocean safaris, black rhino tracking on foot, and participative conservation experiences.

Helpful, proactive, and no sales pressure
I initially contacted Anja for a price on a specific hotel, which I’m now going ahead with, but what really impressed me was how much genuine interest she took in the rest of my trip. She offered thoughtful advice and additional quotes, and was completely relaxed about me using other providers where that made sense. At no point did I feel any pressure. She even went above and beyond by proactively phoning and chasing another travel provider on my behalf while I was waiting for a response — despite there being no commission in it for her. It was clear that her priority was making sure I had the best possible holiday, not simply closing a sale. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely customer-focused. Extremely helpful booking agent
