About the lodge
An overview of Rhino Post Safari Lodge.
Rhino Post Safari Lodge is not just a beautiful lodge built from canvas, wood and glass - the contemporary design of the safari lodge blends into the natural surroundings with no sculpted gardens or fences.
Highlights
- Rhino Post Safari Lodge offers a chic alternative to the traditional Kruger National Park visit.
- The exclusivity of a sixteen-bed lodge and outstanding service combine beautifully with the full Kruger Park experience.
- The lodge has been nominated for and has received numerous travel awards, developing a loyal following of regular guests.
You Should Know
- There is no age restriction on accommodation, but regrettably, children under the age of six are not allowed on game drives unless a private vehicle is booked.
The Detail
The ambiance is relaxed and friendly. Guests join their guides and management around the dinner table in the sociable atmosphere of the Kruger Camps, while enjoying the level of service and luxury expected from any upmarket game lodge.
Game drives take full advantage of the extensive network of Kruger Park roads. These drives allow guests to explore the incredible biodiversity that makes Kruger a world icon and continue into the evening after the self-drive tourists have returned to their camps.
We are particularly proud of the fact that we do no off-road driving—both out of respect for nature and its long-term sustainability and because, in the Kruger Park, such driving is unnecessary. The most popular and frequently used routes in the Kruger National Park are tarred. This is essential for handling the volume of daytime traffic during busy seasons and for ensuring the park remains accessible, even during the rainy season.
Wildlife often takes advantage of the smooth, warm roads, especially during the winter months when the roads close to the rivers attract more animals.
