Rhino Post Safari Lodge is located in the renowned Kruger National Park; internationally recognized as one of the largest game reserves on the African continent.
In the heart of the African bush, Rhino Post Safari Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge that's built completely from stone, wood, thatch, and canvas; and has raised walkways to minimize the lodges impact on the environment. Other eco-friendly measures include battery-powered lighting, a specially designed indigenous Reedbed system which processes the bathroom water, and all other waste is sorted and recycled wherever possible.
Each of the eight spacious Suites
The lodge facilities include a communal lounge, dining area with outside fireplace, lodge bar, a shaded patio which overlooks an active waterhole, a swimming pool, extensive wine cellar, and in-room massages.
Rhino Post Safari Lodge focuses on game drives which are conducted by professional guides in open 4x4 Landcruisers.
Located within a 29 652 acre concession, Rhino Post offers incredible wildlife sightings, including Africa's Big 5. In addition to the private concession, SAN Parks has permitted Rhino Post to utilize 170km of park roads at night, once all the gates have closed to the self-drive tourists, enhancing each guests' safari experience. To preserve the wilderness concession, no off-roading is practised at Rhino Post Safari Lodge.
For the more adventurous traveller, Rhino Post offers the opportunity to spend a night on a raised sleepout deck that's positioned in the bush. Indulge in a meal cooked over an open fire and look out for animals drinking at the waterhole below before crawling into bed, listening as the bush come to life.
Rhino Post Safari Lodge is ideal for solo explorers, couples, and families looking to experience the magic of the Kruger.

"The location is superb, our suite overlooked the mutlumuvi dry river bed. The colours and textures used in the room compliment the surrounds, its a very peaceful place. The staff took care of our every need, and the game drives were exciting. We will definitely return."

"Our stay at Rhino Post was very enjoyable. The weather was unfortunately very bad, but our ranger still managed to keep us entertained! The staff are friendly and attentive and the location is fantastic. However, we did feel that in terms of value for money, other similar lodges offered a lot more. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay!"
- Chris Quayle
"We stayed over at Rhino Post for one night in August 2012 and really enjoyed our stay. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable, and the tented accommodation is very good and well appointed. On a slight negative note, while the food is good and adequate, it's not great. The two game drives were good, where we saw the Big 5 on our evening drive. Being on a private part of Kruger Park (concession), it's very quiet, which is fantastic - the lack of cell phone reception was an absolute blessing. The watering hole opposite the lodge bar/deck is good, where a herd of elephants coming through was a pleasure to see."
- Tony Pretorius

- Jacobus de Wet
"Excellent place, had a great time and Joey was a fantastic guide. No hesitation in recommending others to enjoy the friendliness of all the staff and the beautiful surroundings. Hoping to visit again 2015."

"We had an awesome time. plenty to eat and lots of rest as well. we had Australian friends with and they too had a wonderful time, we got to see the big 5 and more in the time we where there."
- Ana Sequeira
"You could spend the whole day sitting on the patio watching animals visit the watering hole outback. The staff takes the time to learn your name and chat with you. We had Joey as a guide, and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting. Regardless of your safari experience, he's able to cater to everyone."
