The Details
Location
The resort lies on the northern tip of Zanzibar at Nungwi, around an hour and a half by road from Stone Town and Zanzibar International Airport. Nungwi is known for its powder-white sand and calm, swimmable water that holds its depth at low tide, unlike much of the rest of the island's east and south coasts.
Rooms
Guest rooms and suites are spread through low-rise buildings within the gardens, finished in a contemporary tropical style with private balconies or terraces. Categories range from standard rooms through to larger suites suited to families and honeymooners.
Dining
Four restaurants cover international buffet dining, à la carte options, seafood and grill menus, supported by several bars including a beach bar. The all-inclusive package covers meals, snacks and a wide selection of local and international drinks throughout the day.
Activities
On-site facilities include three swimming pools, a spa, a fitness centre, tennis and a range of non-motorised water sports off the beach. The resort can arrange dhow cruises, snorkelling and diving on the nearby reefs, dolphin trips, and excursions to Stone Town and the surrounding spice farms.

Children 2–12 yrs: 50% of adult rate sharing parents' room; 80% of adult rate in own room. Additional per-child supplements apply for Superior Deluxe (US$36.50/child/day) and Ocean Front Suite (US$65.00/child/day). Festive supplements: Gala Dinner 31 Dec 2026 US$66.50/child; Easter 2027 US$24.00/child/day. Baby cots provided free on request (one per room).
Notable exceptions
- Children of all ages are welcome. No dedicated family suite category — family accommodation is offered via Superior or Superior Deluxe rooms (2 queen beds, or 1 king with rollaway), with 14 connecting rooms available for larger families. Room occupancy limits apply: Superior room max 3 pax (2 adults + 1 child); Superior Deluxe max 4 pax (2 adults + 2 children); Ocean Front Suite max 3 pax (2 adults + 1 child). Families with 3 children must book 2 rooms. Note: the 2026/27 rate sheet reduces Superior room maximum to 3 pax (down from 2 adults + 2 children in 2025/26). Child rate band is 2–12 years; treatment of under-2s is not explicitly stated.
