Day 1: Journey to Muchenje Safari Lodge
Begin your adventure with a road transfer to the exquisite Muchenje Safari Lodge. Upon arrival, a representative will escort you to the lodge, where you'll be greeted by the friendly staff and a refreshing welcome drink. After check-in, unwind before embarking on your first thrilling safari activity. Conclude your day with a sumptuous dinner at the lodge, and relax after an exhilarating day in the wilderness.
Day 2-3: The Chobe Waterfront Experience
Awaken to early morning coffee or tea before setting out on a morning game drive to witness the vibrant wildlife and birdlife at their most active. Return to the lodge for a delectable lunch and prepare for two days of adventure. Activities include a full-day safari with a Chobe River boat cruise, seasonal morning walks, night drives, and visits to the local community school. Whether exploring by 4x4, foot, or boat, your guides' expertise will ensure unforgettable encounters with the local wildlife.
Day 4: Transfer to the Okavango Delta
Say farewell to Muchenje Safari Lodge and transfer to Kasane Airport for your flight to Jedibe Airstrip. From there, a boat will whisk you away to the exclusive Setari Camp, accessible only by water. Enjoy a scenic boat safari as you journey to the camp. Upon arrival, settle into your luxurious tent while the staff prepares your lunch and your first Okavango Delta safari. End the day with a relaxing dinner and the camp's exceptional amenities.
Day 5-6: Revel in Setari Camp
Discover the diverse landscapes of Setari Camp, featuring lagoons, waterways, rivers, open floodplains, and palm forests. Engage in year-round water activities such as boating, Mekoro excursions, and guided walks. Relax at the large swimming pool with panoramic views or savor a boma dinner under the stars.
Last Day: Farewell to the Okavango Delta
Conclude your extraordinary journey with a transfer from Setari Camp to the airstrip for your flight home, leaving with memories of an unparalleled safari experience.
Guests can add on a stay at 528 Vic Falls to complete the beginning or end of a safari at an additional cost.
