Day 01
Your adventure begins in Cape Town, one of the most iconic cities in the world, where you will stay at The Commodore Hotel for three nights. The maritime-themed hotel is located in the V&A Waterfront, offering views of Table Mountain and Cape Town Harbour.
Day 02
Spend your day uncovering Cape Town’s rich culture and breathtaking landscapes. Highlights include the V&A Waterfront, the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary African Art, and Table Mountain, where you can hike or take a cable car to enjoy panoramic views of the city. Explore Boulders Beach, home to a colony of African penguins, and take a scenic drive along the Cape Peninsula, including the famous Chapman’s Peak Drive.
Day 03
Dive deeper into Cape Town’s offerings by exploring the Cape Winelands in Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, sampling world-class wines and cuisine. Alternatively, visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where you can stroll along the treetop canopy walkway or attend a live concert. For history enthusiasts, a tour of Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, provides a poignant experience.
Day 04
Depart Cape Town for the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve. A flight from Cape Town International Airport (CPT) to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) will be followed by a scenic transfer to Inyati Game Lodge, where you’ll stay for three nights in a comfortable chalet.
Day 05
Start your day with an early morning game drive, exploring the 65,000-hectare Sabi Sand Reserve, famed for its Big Five sightings and diverse ecosystems. Experienced rangers and trackers will guide you through the savannahs and riverbeds, ensuring an unforgettable safari experience. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge before heading out for an evening game drive and a magical dinner under the African stars.
Day 06
In addition to game drives, take part in a guided walking safari, where you’ll learn about the smaller wonders of the bush, from plants to insects and animal tracks. Enjoy your lodge’s amenities, including in-room Wi-Fi and exceptional dining, while soaking in the tranquility of the wilderness.
Day 07
Bid farewell to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and transfer back to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls International Airport. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Shongwe Oasis, where you’ll spend two nights.
Day 08
Experience the majesty of Victoria Falls, the world’s widest waterfall, on a guided tour that showcases the best viewpoints. Adventure seekers can indulge in thrilling activities such as white-water rafting, bungee jumping, or a scenic helicopter flight over the falls. For a more relaxed option, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, taking in the natural beauty of the area.
Day 09
On your final day, transfer from Shongwe Oasis to Victoria Falls International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg (OR Tambo International Airport). As you reflect on the incredible landscapes, wildlife, and cultural experiences of this journey, you’ll take home unforgettable memories of Cape Town, Sabi Sand Game Reserve, and Victoria Falls.

"Very helpful with itinerary and excellent arrangements of transport from and to Cape Town, and Idubi in Sabi Sands and Lukimbi in Kruger. Although a rep for Safari.com said a letter from a doctor was not required, such a letter IS REQUIRED to go on bush walks if older than 65. Fortunately, we checked the reserve web site and had a doctor's letter."
