This incredible 8-day tour explores three of South Africa’s most iconic destinations. Enjoy an all-inclusive Big-Five Safari, a highly entertaining 5-Star Resort hotel, and a city escape all in one dream vacation.

Your journey begins with a Big-Five Safari in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, known as South Africa's premier game reserve offering phenomenal Big Five game viewing and frequent sightings of leopards. You will enjoy a stay at Idube Game Lodge.

You then travel to Sun City Holiday Resort, which boasts a variety of dining options, a casino, the famous Valley of the Waves, incredible nightlife, the maze of the Lost City, and a wide range of outdoor adventure activities and family entertainment.

Itinerary

Days 01–03

Sabi Sands Game Reserve

Your safari adventure begins today with a flight from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the lodge for check-in.

Depending on your time of arrival, you may venture out on your first-afternoon game drive in search of wildlife including the Big 5. Game drives are approximately three and a half to four hours long with a stop to enjoy your favorite drink while witnessing the most majestic sunset. You return to camp in the early evening to enjoy a perfectly prepared meal under the African sky.

The next two days will be spent exploring the bushveld on morning and afternoon game drives. If you are feeling adventurous, you may choose to venture out on the mid-morning bush walk with your guide. These bush walks are truly unique as they allow you to discover the beauty of the African wilderness.

Days 04–05

Sun City

After your morning game drive and a sumptuous breakfast, you'll gather your belongings and transfer to Hoedspruit airport to board your scheduled flight to Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met and transferred to Sun City Resort.

After checking in to your room at The Palace of the Lost City, you will have the next few days to explore the world's most unique resort and the various attractions on offer, including the Valley of the Waves with its wave pool, thrilling slides, and lazy river. Try your hand at a game of poker at the casino or enjoy a round of golf on the Gary Player Golf Course. Sun City has something for everyone!

Days 06–07

Cape Town

After a heart-warming breakfast, you will travel back to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. Once you arrive, you will check in for your scheduled flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town's International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

After checking in to your room, you will have free time to explore the top attractions in Cape Town, including the iconic Table Mountain, the bustling V&A Waterfront, and top wine estates. Cape Town boasts a number of award-winning restaurants and unique activities. With so much to see and do, we recommend chatting with your travel expert about the different tour options.

Day 08

End of Adventure

Your journey in South Africa comes to an end as you transfer back to Cape Town International Airport to begin your travel back home. Should you wish to stay longer in Cape Town, please contact us for a variety of extension options.
