Itinerary
Day 1: Arriving at Savute Safari Lodge
Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Savute Safari Lodge, who will escort you to the lodge via a scenic flight. After checking in, enjoy some down time before heading out on an afternoon safari in the Savute, in the heart of Chobe National Park.
Day 2 - 3: Experience the Savute Region
Begin your mornings with a light breakfast before embarking on a morning safari. As Savute comes to life, discover the regions vast wilderness with vibrant birdlife, zebra migrations and predators on the hunt in the marsh areas. After your morning explorations, return to the lodge to indulge in a hearty breakfast.
Your afternoon safaris offer an intimate wildlife encounters, followed by winding down for the day on your private deck, cocktails in the stylish bar or refreshing dips in the swimming pool - perfect for watching the resident Elephants taking a drink from the Savute Channel.
Day 4: Transfer to Nxamaseri Island Lodge
After breakfast this morning, board a light aircraft to the tranquil Nxamaseri Island Lodge. Nestled on a private island in the serene waters of Botswana's Okavango Panhandle, the exclusive lodge immerses you in the beauty of the permanent swamps.
Day 5-6: Embrace Botswana's Okavango Panhandle
The next two days are yours to revitalise and enjoy the lodge's various activities. Your mornings start with a continental breakfast in the main dining area before setting off on a motorised boat safaris. Activities such as fishing, birding or a guided mokoro excursions in the traditional dug out canoes offer an unique experience of the channels and lagoons of the Okavango Panhandle
After an early lunch, breakaway to your room to enjoy the private deck or join a guided bird walk around the island before heading out for your afternoon activity. End of the day with pre dinner drinks around the fire in the bar area, followed by a delightful dinner.
Day 7: Farewell
Enjoy your final breakfast this morning before bidding bid farewell to the serene Nxamaseri Island Lodge. You will take a flight back to Maun International Airport to connect with your own onward arrangements.
