Sand River Masai Mara comprises 16 fully equipped tents, divided into two campsites. These provide private and exclusive accommodations amidst the majestic beauty of Masai Mara.

(2026 Resident edition: FOC threshold drops to under 5; 5–17.99 follow 25/50/75% bands.)
Notable exceptions
- Children are warmly welcomed at Sand River. Family Suite accommodates 2 adults and 2 children, with additional adults (75% PPS) and children (25% PPS) accepted on request; a limited number of triple rooms (up to 3 guests) is also available. Families of 5 or more travelling with children aged 5–12 receive exclusive use of a game-drive vehicle on a complimentary basis, subject to availability and pre-booking; Elewana also provides complimentary exclusive-vehicle use for guests booking the Family units. Walking-safari minimum age varies by edition: 2026 USD and 2027 RA rate sheets state "over 16 years … subject to the guides' discretion"; the 2026 Resident KES edition states "over 15.99 years". FOC age threshold for children sharing with adults also varies between editions (under 12 in USD/RA editions; under 5 in 2026 Resident edition). Babysitting is not formally offered at Sand River (listed only for AfroChic Diani and Arusha Coffee Lodge), but staff can assist with watching children so parents can enjoy dinner, on request.
