Children defined as under 17.99 years. Under 12 sharing with adults stay free (1–2 children with 1–2 adults). Ages 12–17.99 in own room: 75% of adult rate; sharing with 1 adult: 50%; sharing with 2 adults: 25%. Resident rates: under 5 sharing with an adult is FOC; 5–17.99 follows the 75/50/25 structure.

Notable exceptions

  • Children are warmly welcomed across the Elewana portfolio (Kilindi Zanzibar is the only adults-only exception). Walking safaris are restricted to guests aged 16+, and even then participation is at the guide's discretion. Families of 5 or more guests travelling with children aged 5–12 receive complimentary exclusive use of a game-drive vehicle, subject to availability and pre-booking. Family Suite is configured for 2 adults + 2 children, with additional adults at 75% PPS and additional children at 25% PPS on request. Savannah Room maximum occupancy is 3 guests. Note: the 2026 international rate sheet treats under-12s sharing with adults as FOC, while the 2026 Resident rate sheet applies FOC only to under-5s; the 2027 sheet states child rates apply to guests below 12.
