The Standard Rooms are open-plan and feature a king-size bed covered by a mosquito net, an open-plan ensuite bathroom, an overhead fan, and a comfortable veranda that overlooks the gardens.

The four Superior Garden Rooms are paired to create inter-leading rooms, which are ideal for families or larger groups. Each room features a four-poster king-size bed draped with mosquito netting, an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, a writing desk, and a private thatched terrace with views of the sea through the foliage.

The Sea Front Villas are spacious and private, featuring a four-poster king-size bed draped with mosquito netting, an opulent ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower, a lounge area, and a sun terrace that faces a spectacular ocean sunset.

The highlight of Manta Resort is the unique ‘Underwater Room’, a three-story glass-fronted suite where your bedroom is four meters below water. Surrounded by glass, this room provides unrivaled views of the underwater world. At night, spotlights illuminate the reef and passing fish, offering an ever-changing but peaceful scene to drift off to.

The scuba diving off Pemba is truly spectacular, with visibility of 30 to 40 meters on most days and an average water temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. Scorpions Secret and Shimba Wall are some of the famous dive sites and are well-known for larger fish species such as eagle rays, Napoleon fish, GTs, and barracuda.

You can dive and snorkel on pristine reefs in total seclusion, explore this magical island with its rich history of the spice trade and the rise and fall of the Arab empire, embark on a sandbank trip at low tide, enjoy a Ngalawa sunset cruise, and wander lush tropical forests in search of monkeys and the endemic flying fox.
