The Residence Zanzibar boasts 66 meticulously designed villas that seamlessly blend contemporary style with the island's rich African, Omani, and European heritage. These villas offer an exquisite combination of spaciousness and seclusion.
Step outside onto the lounge deck, furnished with comfortable wicker chairs and inviting daybeds. For those eager to explore the beautiful surroundings, strolls through the lush gardens are a delight, or guests can opt for the complimentary bicycles provided with each Zanzibar luxury villa, allowing for an even closer connection to the local environment. Guests celebrating their honeymoon at The Residence Zanzibar receive a curated package of romantic inclusions valid year-round (excluding Festive Season) when staying in a 1-bedroom villa (Luxury Garden Pool Villa, Luxury Ocean Pool Villa, or Prestige Ocean Pool Villa). A copy of the wedding certificate no older than 9 months must be provided before arrival or at check-in. A minimum 4-night stay is required. Inclusions are a romantic villa turn-down service, a beach bag, a local 'kitenge', a beach dinner for two with a bottle of sparkling wine, and a 45-minute couple massage.

Child rates
Children 0–7.99 years stay free of charge (FOC) on all meal plans. Children 8–11.99 years pay reduced supplements: USD 149 pp/night Half Board, USD 20 pp/night Full Board upgrade, USD 48 Standard All-Inclusive, USD 69 Premium All-Inclusive. Children 12+ pay adult rates (USD 249 pp/night HB). Mandatory Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve Gala Dinner supplements: USD 95 for children 8–11.99, FOC for 0–7.99, USD 190 adults. Infrastructure Tax of USD 5 per person per night applies to all guests including infants. Family Added Value: in 1-Bedroom Villas, 2 children up to 7.99 years sharing with parents stay free on Half Board (year-round except Festive period).
Notable exceptions
- All ages are welcomed to stay; the resort is a beach/villa property with no game activities, so no minimum age applies to drives or walks. Two-bedroom Frangipani and Presidential Villas accommodate up to 6 guests including children up to age 11.99; 1-Bedroom villas accommodate up to 4 (2 adults + 2 children, with at least one child under 7.99 in most configurations). Interconnecting villas are not possible — only stand-alone villas are offered; adjacent villas can be reserved strictly subject to availability. Rollaway beds (up to two) or a baby cot can be arranged in the living area on request. The Family Added Value benefit (2 kids under 7.99 free on Half Board in 1-Bedroom Villa) is not available during the Festive period. Infrastructure Tax of USD 5 pp/night applies to infants and children. Restaurant dress codes are enforced for children (no swimwear, shoes required).
