After exploring the gorgeous coastline of Cape Town and the picturesque wine country, you head off on a true African safari adventure, staying in two famous private reserves located in the greater Kruger National Park:- Sabi Sands and Timbavati.
Both reserves are renowned for the big five but the Sabi Sands is most famous for its big cat sightings, whilst the Timbavati offers the opportunity to see rare white lions. Your time on safari will be spent exploring the wilderness on open vehicle game drives and guided bush walks, encountering Africa's wildlife up-close.
You will first enjoy an intimate and personalized safari experience at Sabi Sabi Little Bush before heading to the Timbavati for an authentic tented safari offered at Ngala Tented Safari Camp.

Today you will be met on your arrival at Cape Town's International Airport and transferred to your luxurious Waterfront hotel for check-in.
During your stay in Cape Town, you will have the opportunity to explore the bustling V&A Waterfront only a short walk from your hotel, as well as other top attractions. Cape Town is a friendly city with a wide range of activities for everyone. We highly recommend visiting Table Mountain, Boulders Beach which is home to African penguins, and the Cape Winelands for some fine cuisine and world-class wines. After a sumptuous breakfast, you bid farewell to the vibrant city of Cape Town as you transfer by road back to Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled flight to Skukuza Airport. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp for check-in.
The reserve is home to the Big Five (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo), as well as cheetah, wild dog and hundreds of other species of animals, birds, and plants indigenous to the area. Highly trained and experienced rangers and Shangaan trackers ensure that your safari experience ranks amongst the best in the world.
Discover the beauty of the reserve with exciting morning and afternoon/evening open-vehicle game drives, and for the more adventurous traveler are guided bush walks that truly immerse you in nature and heighten each of your senses.
Accommodation: Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp
After one final game drive in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and warm breakfast, you will transfer by road to the Timbavati Game Reserve, where you will check into your luxury tented camp.
The 15 000 hectare Timbavati Game Reserve is most famous for being the home of the world's last white lions living freely in the wild. Over and above these magnificent creatures, the reserve boasts more than 40 mammal species, including the Big Five, and 260 species of bird - a paradise for bird lovers.
Venture out into the bush on morning and afternoon/evening open-vehicle game drives and enjoy one of the camps popular nature walks. The walks are led by an armed guide and offer the opportunity to discover the smaller wondrous creatures of the African bush, as well as the various plants that flourish on the reserve.

After one final safari adventure in the African bush, you sit down to a hearty breakfast before gathering your belongings and transferring by road to Hoedspruit Airport for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport. Once in Johannesburg, you will connect with your onward travel arrangements.

Pascal John was awesome!
Pascal John was very helpful with planning our trip. We had specific dates and time frames that we had to make sure corresponded correctly with the rest of our South Africa trip and Pascal John could not have made it any easier. It was a great experience dealing with Shann. She was most accommodating and patient. We managed to sort things out very eventually. The only sore point I have is the 2 % surcharge for the card handling fee, which I find too excessive. Otherwise, I am pleased with everything.

Trip to Kruger at Mdluli Safari Lodge
I loved working with Anja from safari.com. She put together my itinerary within my price range and was very professional, thorough and empathetic. She followed up with me many times to see if I needed anything throughout my trip and even filled out some forms for me when I was having difficulty. When the lodge I stayed at was not being accommodating in the slightest, she quickly contacted the manager and got them to rearrange their services to meet my needs. I would most certainly use safari.com again due to my wonderful experience working with Anja.

I would love to share my experience with Nicole. She has worked tirelessly to help me make my dream vacation a reality. I had no idea how to start planning. Nicole suggested the most wonderful South African resorts and safaris. No matter how many changes I threw her way it was always received with a happy, positive attitude. I live in Hawaii and even though we were on a 12 hour time difference she was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Her expertise, knowledge and patience are unmeasurable. I was plagued with numerous payment issues from my bank in Hawaii. Nicole never wavered from being patience and more importantly positive that we could resolve each issue and get my trip booked.
