7-Day Botswana Safari: Linyanti Tented Suites & Khwai Exploration

Day 1: Arrival at Linyanti Bush Camp

Upon arrival at Saile Airstrip (BBK/MUB), enjoy a scenic road transfer to Linyanti Bush Camp, where you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink and settle into your luxury suite. 

Depending on your arrival time, you can either jump on an open game drive vehicle for a short afternoon game drive to spot your first wildlife or simply relax at the camp and soak in the peaceful surroundings. As the sun sets, enjoy dinner and drinks under the African sky.

Day 2: Linyanti Game Drives & Safari Activities

Wake up early for a morning game drive and catch the wildlife in action at first light. Keep your eyes open for elephants, lions, and other fascinating creatures. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, then enjoy some leisure time – perhaps a dip in the pool or a quiet moment on your private deck. 

In the afternoon, take a mokoro safari (water permitting) or join a walking safari (for guests 16+), and optionally, visit a local ABCF community to experience authentic culture. 

Round off the day with dinner and evening drinks at camp. Between April and November, a 20-minute scenic helicopter flight is available for a breathtaking aerial view of the Linyanti region.

Day 3: Full Linyanti Safari Experience

Begin your day with an early morning game drive to witness wildlife at sunrise, followed by breakfast back at the camp. Explore the lodge surroundings or join a guided bush walk. 

The afternoon offers another game drive or mokoro safari, and adventurous guests may opt for an optional night drive to see nocturnal wildlife. Return to camp for dinner and drinks, enjoying the stories and sights of your day in the wild.

Day 4: Transfer to Kwai Lediba

After breakfast, it’s time for a scheduled inter-camp transfer via helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft to Khwai Lediba. Upon arrival, check into your suite and enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. 

In the afternoon, head out on a game drive to explore the wildlife-rich Khwai area. End the day with dinner at the lodge, reflecting on the incredible landscapes and wildlife encounters of the past few days.

Day 5: Khwai Game Drives & Safari Activities

Start with a morning game drive through the Khwai Concession to spot elephants, predators, and birdlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time, taking in the peaceful surroundings. 

In the afternoon, choose between a walking safari or mokoro excursion (16+), and optionally, visit a local ABCF community to connect with the people of the area. Finish the day with an evening game drive or relax at the lodge for sundowners and dinner.

Day 6: Full Safari Day in Khwai

Enjoy an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Spend your late morning at leisure, perhaps enjoying lodge facilities or another guided bush walk. The afternoon is perfect for a game drive or mokoro safari, exploring the waterways and tracking wildlife. 

For those interested, an optional night drive reveals the secret lives of nocturnal animals. Conclude your day with dinner and drinks, celebrating your safari adventure and all the unforgettable memories made.

Day 7: Departure

On your final day, rise early for an optional morning game drive for one last glimpse of Botswana’s wildlife. After breakfast at the lodge, pack and prepare for your onward journey. A return road transfer will take you to Khwai Airstrip for your departure.
