Safari.com presents
Seven days across two of Africa's most iconic destinations. A train suspended over a river in Kruger, then the thunder of the world's greatest waterfall.
The Journey
Experience the ultimate safari adventure — three nights aboard the iconic Kruger Shalati Train on The Bridge, perched above the Sabie River in the heart of Kruger National Park, followed by three nights at The Wallow Lodge near Victoria Falls, with a full-day excursion into Chobe National Park.
Days 1–3 · Kruger National Park
Fly from Johannesburg to Skukuza and check into the iconic Kruger Shalati — a restored train permanently stationed on a bridge over the majestic Sabie River. Early morning and afternoon game drives in open Land Rovers reveal the Big Five and Kruger's extraordinary biodiversity.
Kruger Shalati
Each luxury carriage has been meticulously restored, offering panoramic views of the Sabie River below. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the bush as living art. Between drives, relax at one of three swimming pools or dine on the deck overlooking the river.
Between the Drives
Swim in a pool perched above the river, sip sundowners at the bar, or simply watch the wildlife below from your carriage. Kruger Shalati is a deeply visceral experience — where the boundary between lodge and landscape disappears entirely.
Kruger National Park
Kruger is home to a greater diversity of wildlife than anywhere else in Africa. Your expert guides and trackers navigate open Land Rovers through landscapes teeming with life — from the Big Five to the smallest kingfisher perched above the Sabie.
Day 4 · From Bush to Falls
After breakfast, transfer to Nelspruit Airport for your flight to Livingstone. A different Africa awaits — where the Zambezi plunges into a chasm of mist and thunder, and the elephants of Chobe roam the riverbanks by the thousand.
Days 4–6 · Victoria Falls
Welcome to Bush Bohemia. The Wallow Lodge sits along the Masuwe River with uninterrupted views of the surrounding wilderness. Modern, fresh, and beautifully designed — your base for exploring Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park.
The Wallow Lodge
Luxurious suites with private balconies and outdoor showers open onto the bush. Enjoy cocktails and canapés on the edge of Batoka Gorge, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, and evenings by the fire with a nightcap under the southern stars.
Chobe & Victoria Falls
A full day in Chobe National Park — famous for the largest elephant herds in Africa — includes a river safari, lunch, and an afternoon game drive. Visit the thundering Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and cruise the Zambezi at sunset.
