Children aged 5 and up are welcome at Umlani Bushcamp
Children under 12 cannot do bushwalks with adults; a small in-camp bushwalk with a ranger for kids can be arranged.

Umlani offers a tranquil escape with a gift shop, award-winning dining in a traditional boma, babysitting and laundry services, airport transfers, a swimming pool, and a bush bar overlooking a waterhole. For a unique experience, enjoy a bush sleepout in the exclusive treehouse approx 1.5 miles from camp.

At Umlanie Bushcamp, they offer two distinct family hut options tailored to your group's size.
Guests can choose from their two cosy 3-sleeper family huts, which comfortably accommodate a maximum of three guests, or their two larger 4-sleeper family huts, designed strictly for up to four guests.
Each hut provides the perfect rustic setting for a memorable bush getaway.
Umlani Activities
Umlani is known for its expert rangers and trackers, who will not only help you spot wildlife but also introduce you to the region's rich flora, fauna, birdlife, and cultural history.
Game Drives: Enjoy two daily game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, one at dawn and another in the afternoon, with optional morning bush walks.
Daytime Activities: Take guided walks, relax in hammocks by the pool, or unwind at the bush bar with views of the riverbed and waterhole. For tranquillity, visit the exclusive treehouse, overlooking a dam.

Children 12 and under sharing receive 50% discount on the per-adult-per-night sharing rate (applies to standard and 3-Night Special rates). Conservation Levy for international guests under 12: R330 pp/night.
