Victoria Falls River Lodge, located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, features one Private Luxury Villa, 13 Luxury Tented Suites (each with a private deck and plunge pool), and six secluded Island Treehouse Suites (sheltered amidst the treetops of the private Kandahar Island). The lodge also offers spacious open-plan dining, lounge, and bar areas, an onsite fitness center, and the indulgent Africology-affiliated Toa Spa.
As the first privately owned safari lodge to be built within the Zambezi National Park (Zimbabwe), the lodge is ideally situated for exploring Victoria Falls. It seamlessly combines the African safari experience with one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World, the iconic Victoria Falls, whose spray can be seen in the distance!

Children aged four to eleven sharing a Luxury Family Tent with their parents or two adults stay at 25 per cent of the adult sharing rate, and those aged twelve to seventeen at 50 per cent. Children under four are accommodated free of charge in Luxury Family Tents and in the villas. Children accommodated in their own tent, suite or unit are charged the full adult rate, and the Malachite Tented Suites and Island Treehouse Suites accept guests aged twelve and over only.

Island Treehouse Suites, Starbed Treehouse and Malachite Tented Suites have a minimum age of 12 (2026 Appendix A extends the 12+ restriction to Malachite Tented Suites; in 2025 it applied to Island Treehouse Suites only). Children aged 0–3 are not permitted on game drives or river cruises. Standard game drives accept children aged 8+; families with children aged 4–7 wishing to join an early-morning/late-afternoon drive must book a sole-use game viewer at $407/drive (2025) or $450/drive (2026) — alternatively the complimentary Junior Discoverers' Drive runs outside standard drive times (subject to vehicle capacity). Fishing Safari Excursions require a minimum age of 6 with sole use of the boat. Walking safaris remain 12+. Children under 16 should not occupy a tent on their own as the lodge is unfenced inside a National Park with tents 40–60m apart. Family accommodation: Luxury Family Tents fit up to 3 children under 18 in an adjoining alcove (bunk + single bed, second bathroom); Hippo Creek Villa (2 King/Twin Suites + 1 Family Suite, sole use max 6 adults + 2 children) and Rapids View Villa (2 Family Suites) available. Camp cots on request (one child per cot).
