"We had stayed at Vic Falls Lodge twice before, so obviously liked it. This time it was our honeymoon, the lodge was full so we went to the Safari Club. We thought the lodge was good but the safari club is in a whole different league. The rooms must be amongst the best in Zim, the service attentive, we just loved the whole thing. If you are going to the falls, this is the place to stay."

"I really enjoyed staying at Vic Falls Safari Club away from the crowds at larger hotels close to The Vic Falls. I appreciated the intimacy and personal service at Safari Club compared to Safari Lodge. My son absolutely loved the activity around the waterhole especially the vultures. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the close proximity to The Boma and thoroughly enjoined the entertaining cultural evening. The main dish was warthog and was delicious but maybe for vegetarians there could be more of a selection of salads. Thanks Jonathan and team for a wonderful stay"

- Gavin

"Definitely a place to say. Spent most of time out side the Bar watching the vultures getting fed. This again is a bucket list place and very well run. Will return for a longer stay. Victoria falls is an adventures paradise. Staff was well trained and the property was meticulously maintained."

"After spending time throughout Africa I can only say that this is the perfect place we have had the honour to stay at. The service was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the safari club to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy Africa."

"My husband and I were extremely happy with every aspect of this hotel and recommend it highly. Not only do you feel like royalty when anyone on the staff interacts with you, there are free-roaming adorable wart hogs wondering around the grounds... can't get better than that! Everything was done to perfection and with utmost friendly professionalism. Thank you!"

- Robert

"Beautiful rooms overlooking a waterhole, visited by an array of animals during daylight and especially at night. Elephants, zebra, antelope , baboons, wartehogs and more illuminated softly and all viewable from the balcony or from the main dining area. Food was superb and we were entertained by some musicians which made our starting point in Zimbabwe very special."

"What an incredible place to stay. The eating deck over looks a watering hole, where we were lucky enough to see giraffes, warthog, crocodile, elephants and more! The staff are incredibly helpful and are such genuine people. The rooms are amazing. I honestly don't have a bad word to say not even any constructive criticism, this place is absolute bliss. Victoria Falls just keeps getting better year after year. Definitely stay here for a once in a lifetime experience. You won't regret it. This place makes me proud to say I am from Zimbabwe. Thank you for making our trip truly unforgettable. The Barnetts/Wilsons"

"Although just out of town there is plenty to keep you occupied around the hotel. The Boma Restaurant if you want entertainment with your meal or another very pleasant restaurant looking over the floodlit waterhole. Had a foot and leg massage which was excellent. Enjoyed the pool. Evening Star gazing talk. Lovely deck looking out over the waterhole to while away relaxing time. Augustine the Club manager was really accommodating and made our wish come true, so big thanks to him. The overall manager Jonathan Hudson was fantastic at mingling with the guests and actively engaging to make certain they were all doing the utmost to make it a wonderful stay. So nice to see. All other staff went out of their way to make certain we were having a good time. The rooms were spotless and so well equipped."

"We visited for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding on the banks of the Zambezi River. Being a hotelier myself and no stranger to the Falls, I was curious. Firstly our driver who picked us up was pleasant, informed and courteous. On arrival we were met by the manager and introduced to the staff on duty. The place is well appointed, the staff efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Top class. Great location."

"The Victoria Falls Safari Club really is a touch of paradise! I stayed there for 3 magical nights. The grounds that the hotel are situated are beautiful. Expect to see warthogs, monkeys and bushbuck roaming freely around the grounds. The rooms are very well appointed with beautiful views of the bush from your front balcony. There is a beautiful deep bathtub to soak in if that's your thing. The king sized bed is luxury with a great choice of pillow types to help ensure a restful sleep. Of an evening they turn back your bed and spread out the mosquito netting around your bed. A really lovely touch is they leave out a different typed out African story on your bed each night to read. There is no TV but with the beautiful views of the watering hole you certainly don't need one. Of an afternoon there is the pastries to snack on whilst having an icy cold drink. Come evening there is happy hour to enjoy whilst watching a beautiful African sunset. The breakfasts are really nice and you can just walk across to the Safari Lodge to have a swim in their pools, to get a closer look at the wildlife activity from the Buffalo Bar and for dinner. A huge thank you to Lloyd and the staff at the Safari Club for all the attention they provide and for making my 3 night stay truly unforgettable."
