The Zambezi River originates from a small spring and journeys through six countries: Zambia, Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. It forms a 500km border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The dry season from May to October offers the best wildlife viewing, as animals gather around the river and waterholes, providing excellent opportunities to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife. Victoria Falls is at its most visible, with lower water levels allowing for clearer views and less spray, ideal for photography and exploration.
