Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is the ideal place to witness the Great Migration and river crossings along the foothills of the Oloololo Escarpment.

Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp prides itself on offering luxurious accommodations paired with warm Kenyan hospitality. The camp features 12 classic tents, 20 superior tents, and 8 superior view tents, including 3 family suites. The twelve Classic Tents overlook the forest and have limited views of the Sabaringo River. The twenty Superior Tents provide slightly obstructed views of the Maasai Mara through the surrounding forest trees, while the eight Superior View Tents offer unrivaled views of the plains.

Each of the luxurious tents features a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bathrobes, a hairdryer, an in-room safe, complimentary Wi-Fi access, and a deck with comfortable chairs.

The three Family Suites comprise two interconnected tents with an en-suite bathroom, a private veranda overlooking the bushveld, and can accommodate two adults and two children.

Camp facilities include a comfortable lounge area, dining room, bar, safari shop, and a swimming pool.

The Maasai Mara is one of Kenya's premier game parks, boasting one of the world's largest concentrations of animals—home to almost 100 different species. These include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, crocodiles, gazelles, and rhinos, to name just a few. It is also a perfect destination for bird watching, with over 500 bird species recorded in the park.

Explore the Maasai Mara with daily open-vehicle game drives led by professional guides. Night drives offer opportunities to see nocturnal animals; guided bush walks provide up-close encounters with the diverse fauna, flora, and smaller creatures of the African bush.
