The Detail

Mala Mala offers 39,536 acres of unfenced Big Five wilderness and world-class accommodations. This exclusive bush camp is positioned on the banks of the Sabi Sand River and is set amongst huge trees and rolling lawns.

The camp boasts 10 Luxury Suites, 8 Luxury Rooms, and 1 Single Room. Each room has en-suite bathrooms with double vanities, luxury bathroom amenities, air conditioning, a minibar, tea and coffee-making facilities, and an outdoor deck with spectacular views of the bushveld.

Family Rooms can accommodate a maximum of three adults or two adults and two children.

The camp facilities include a comfortable lounge, indoor dining room, historic bar, library with satellite television, complimentary internet connectivity, DVD player, and a large wooden safari deck shaded by Jackalberry trees. The deck offers views of animals that come down to the river to drink. Other facilities include a large infinity pool overlooking the river, a safari boutique, a small gym, and a massage service available on request. Mobile phone coverage and complimentary wireless internet connectivity are available at the camp.

Early morning and late afternoon game drives are offered at the lodge and are conducted in open 4x4 vehicles led by professional rangers. There is never more than six people on a game drive, ensuring an exclusive safari experience.

For the more adventurous traveler, explore the wilderness on foot with a professional ranger. You will enjoy the smaller, wondrous creatures of the bush and learn about the diverse fauna and flora.
