Current offers

Where the rates above show a saving, it comes from a stay-pay or long-stay offer. Honeymoon and last-minute offers are applied by your safari specialist when preparing your quote.

Stay & Pay

Stay four consecutive nights and receive one night complimentary, applied to the lowest-rated night of the stay. The four nights may be spread across MalaMala Camp, Sable Camp and Rattray's Camp, and both arrival and departure must fall within the offer dates: 1 to 15 December 2026, 10 January to 31 March 2027 and 1 November to 15 December 2027. For stays from 6 January to 15 May 2027 and 16 October to 20 December 2027 the equivalent offer requires four consecutive nights at a single lodge or camp, is available on new reservations only, applies to accommodation only and may not be combined with any other offer or special rate; only one exclusive offer may be claimed per booking.

Honeymoon

Honeymoon couples receive a 50 per cent saving on the accommodation of the lower-paying partner for up to three nights, valid for arrivals and departures between 6 January and 15 May 2027 and between 16 October and 20 December 2027. A minimum of two consecutive nights applies, travel must take place within twelve months of the marriage date and a valid marriage certificate is required on confirmation; for longer stays the saving applies to the first three nights only. Milestone wedding anniversaries (10th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th or 60th) and milestone birthdays (21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th, 90th or 95th) qualify for a 50 per cent saving for the lower-paying guest on the first two nights, with travel within six months before or after the date and proof of marriage or identification required. The offer covers one room per celebration, applies to accommodation only, is limited to new reservations and may not be combined with any other offer or special rate.

Last minute

South African passport or identity document holders and permanent residents may book reduced resident rates for stays until 15 December 2026, available only for reservations made 21 days or less before arrival. Proof of residency is required at the time of booking, an indemnity form and copy of identification must be provided at least 72 hours before arrival, and full payment is due within 48 hours of booking. These rates may not be combined with any other special, including the four-nights-for-three offer.

Exceptions

MalaMala Camp welcomes children of all ages to stay, but children aged 5 and under are not permitted on standard game drives — parents must reserve a private safari vehicle at additional cost (R6,990 per empty seat/day in 2027; R6,350 in 2026, out of 6 seats). Children under 6 on a private vehicle with parents are charged at the empty-seat rate. Children younger than 5 are subject to specific terms regarding dining venues and safari vehicles. Policies differ across the three MalaMala camps: Sable Camp does not permit children under 12 unless exclusive use is booked; Rattray's Camp does not permit children under 16 unless exclusive use is booked (then children 12+ welcome). Walking safaris are not a standard offering at this camp.
