&Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp is located in a 61,775-acre exclusive wildlife concession on the edge of the Okavango Delta, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. Ideally positioned to explore the splendor of the Okavango, the camp is known for its elegant tented accommodation, which boasts breathtaking views of the ever-changing Delta. Blending skillfully with the environment, nine exclusive tented suites, set on raised wooden platforms, are tucked beneath a canopy of ebony trees.

Each spacious tent features a luxurious bed that faces the beautiful views of a reed-filled floodplain, an ensuite bathroom with an indoor and open-air shower, and a sprawling veranda with a comfortable sitting area and a private sala. A family tent, consisting of two luxury tents joined by a walkway, provides the perfect setting for families to enjoy the wonders of the Delta.

Activities include day and night game drives, guided bush walks, walking with Bushmen excursions, bird watching, a children’s program that incorporates treasure hunts and other explorative activities, fishing trips along hippo trails amongst the Delta grasses (seasonal), motorized boat excursions (seasonal), and mokoro excursions. A traditional mokoro (dugout canoe) ride reveals the intricate details of the glistening waterways, home to iridescent dragonflies, multicolored frogs, and jewel-like kingfishers nestled along the papyrus-lined banks.

Lion, cheetah, leopard, and African wild dog roam the floodplains alongside large herds of elephant and buffalo. Hippos inhabit the deeper channels and lagoons, while honey badgers are often spotted during the day. Towering termite mounds serve as homes for families of dwarf and banded mongooses.
