The Detail
The first thing you will notice about Camp George is the surroundings. The camp is perfectly tucked into the green oasis of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, creating an immediate feeling of being immersed in the incredible, wild environment.
Camp George consists of eight luxury suites that overlook the dry riverbed running past the camp. These luxury suites are ideal for couples or singles seeking a luxuriously sustainable safari experience.
For families, there are two interleading units available at Camp George.
The Simbavati lodges and camps are world-renowned for their incredible safari and wildlife activities. Camp George fully delivers on this promise. Guests can enjoy twice-daily Big 5 game drives or walking safaris, offering the chance to spot some of the 40 mammal species that reside on the reserve, including lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant, among others. Camp George is also a favorite among birders, with over 360 bird species found in the area.
When not enjoying the incredible wildlife sightings, guests can unwind with the many facilities available at the camp, including a spa, fitness center, pool overlooking the waterhole, and more.

Stay four nights at Camp George and pay for only three. The offer applies to stays from 1 November 2026 to 20 December 2026, from 4 January 2027 to 31 March 2027 and from 1 November 2027 to 20 December 2027. It is subject to availability, excludes the festive season and Easter weekend, and cannot be combined with other offers.
Long stay
Combining Simbavati lodges earns a tiered reduction: 8% for two lodges over a total of four nights, 10% for two lodges over five nights, 12% for two or three lodges over six or seven nights, and 15% for any combination of lodges over more than eight nights, with a minimum of two nights at any one lodge. Guests staying two nights at Camp George also receive a 30% reduction on a walking safari stay at Simbavati Trails Camp. These offers exclude the festive season and Easter weekend, are subject to availability and cannot be combined with other offers.

Honeymooning couples staying 3 or more nights at any one Simbavati lodge receive a 40% discount for one partner (i. e. one partner pays only 60% of the accommodation rate), plus a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival or in-room. A valid marriage certificate dated within 6 months of the wedding date must be presented at check-in. Offers are not combinable with other Simbavati specials and are not valid over the Festive Season (21 Dec–4 Jan) or Easter Weekend.

The general Simbavati child policy permits children 6 years and over on game drives, but the Camp George–specific rule states no children under 8 years are accepted at the lodge at all — so in practice the minimum age to stay (8) is the binding restriction on game drives too. Two interleading suites are configured for families travelling together, and the camp is securely fenced so guests can walk freely between suites and the main area. Babysitting is available on request at additional charge (excluded from the rate).
