Singita Castleton has been designed to combine the best elements of a private safari lodge with the rustic charms of a country farmhouse, with the added benefit of extensive high-end facilities. Formerly the family home of Singita founder Luke Bailes’ grandfather, Singita Castleton is an exclusive use lodge that encourages relaxation, togetherness, and a deep engagement with the African wilderness.

Singita Castleton boasts 6 individual Cottages located separately to the main house. Two of the cottages are inter-leading which is perfect for families.

Each Cottage boasts an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower, lounge area, minibar, air conditioning, bathrobes, fan, complimentary Wi-Fi, mosquito netting, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, and a verandah with a private pool.

The lodge facilities include a swimming pool, library, lounge, wine cellar, gym, tennis court, and spa treatment room. Guests can relax together in the courtyard, gather around the traditional ‘boma’ or meet in the country-style kitchen. All of these areas overlook a waterhole where animals regularly gather to drink.
