Singita Faru Faru is situated within the magnificent Singita Grumeti Reserve, in Northern Tanzania. The reserves cover 350 000 acres of pristine wilderness, which is adjoined to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti. As there is no fencing, the wildlife migrates freely between the national park and the reserve.
• Faru Faru radiates a relaxed atmosphere
• Styled as a colonial-era African safari camp
• Luxurious accommodation and flawless service - ensuring an unforgettable safari experience
• Ideal for solo explorers, couples and families looking for a true wilderness experience
Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge.
Family Suites can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 years.
Two Bedroom Suites can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
There are babysitting services available and tailor-made activities to suit each family. In the interest of safety, the participation of children in game activities is at the discretion of the guide.
The Grumeti concession, which is managed by Singita, was created to preserve the Serengeti Mara ecosystem and protect the path of the annual wildebeest migration.
Perched low on the Grumeti River, overlooking a natural waterhole, Singita Faru Faru Lodge offers a spectacular vantage point for guests to witness an abundance of wildlife and the world's largest annual animal migration. About two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle make their way north into Kenya's Masai Mara, passing through the Grumeti and Serengeti reserves.
Singita Faru Faru Lodge has 7 one-bedroom suites, one family suite and 1 two-bedroom suite with a private pool. These nine stone, canvas and glass suites are unique in design with the use of different shapes, textures, and quirky art decor.
The lodge facilities include two swimming pools in the main lodge area, a comfortable lounge with television, babysitting services, spa and gym facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. The lodge is in a remote location so there is no mobile phone signal and the wireless connection can be slow and intermittent, making for a true wilderness getaway.
Activities offered at the lodge include daily morning and afternoon game drives led by professional guides. Afternoon drives continue into the early evening, offering the opportunity to spot the rare nocturnal species of the African bushveld. For the more adventurous traveler, there are walking safaris that offer a close-up encounter with the smaller wondrous creatures of the bush, stargazing, community visits, swimming, board games and archery which can be arranged.
During your stay, you are likely to see a great variety of wildlife including bat-eared foxes, buffalo, cheetah, Colobus monkey, various antelope, elephant, leopard, lion and Massai giraffe.
Accommodation, return airstrip road transfers, all meals, beverages (excluding Connoisseur wines & French Champagne), twice daily game drives, tennis, telephone calls and laundry service.
Transfers, additional excursions, connoisseur wines, French champagne, items of a personal nature, park fees and tourism development levy.

Kim Abrahams
To be honest, we were a bit picky since it was our honeymoon and at the same time, Safari was our dream travel destination. However, we were able get help from Kim and finally ended up with perfect plan. She was very helpful, kind and meticulous person fortunately. She has provided a complete schedule that reflects all of our requirements and, of course, we would encourage safari.com to any consumer considering traveling to Africa.

Fantastic travel agent for African safari family trip!
Wow! Shann was and is fantastic! She figured out a way to make our entire trip work. We are going on a 2 week trip to South Africa and Botswana. She really helped tie it all together as a wonderful, cohesive trip. She is super nice and super smart and very knowledgeable. She is also flexible and thoughtful, etc., etc. When the chips were down (and we literally were considering pulling the plug on the whole trip), she found a way to make the entire itinerary work and got us excited about our wonderful adventure! Highly recommend!
