The Detail

The Edwardian manor house perched on top of Sasakwa Hill, Singita Sasakwa Lodge offers a spectacular vantage point for guests to witness an abundance of wildlife and the world's largest annual animal migration. About two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle make their way north into Kenya's Masai Mara, passing through the Grumeti and Serengeti reserves.

The Edwardian manor house and private cottages boasts six one-bedroom cottages, two two-bedroom cottages, one three-bedroom cottage, one four-bedroom villa, and one one-bedroom Hillside suite. Each accommodation includes an en-suite bathroom and a private plunge pool. The cottages and villa are luxurious, offering every comfort expected of a 5-star lodge.

The main lodge features a shared swimming pool, gym, library, day spa, and boutique. Additionally, there is a special temperature-controlled cellar where guests can sample and purchase premium wines.

For children, activities include face painting, baking with the chefs, and a mini rangers’ course, which teaches tracking and bush survival skills.

The lodge offers daily morning and afternoon game drives led by professional guides, with afternoon drives extending into the early evening for the chance to spot rare nocturnal species. For adventurous travelers, walking safaris offer close-up encounters with the smaller wonders of the bush. Other activities include stargazing, community visits, swimming, board games, and archery, all of which can be arranged during your stay.

During your visit, you are likely to encounter a diverse range of wildlife, including bat-eared foxes, buffalo, cheetahs, Colobus monkeys, various antelope species, elephants, leopards, lions, and Masai giraffes.
