All children are welcome at the resort. Roll-away beds are available for children under 12 years old, where maximum room occupancy is applicable.
The Detail
On arrival at LUX* Grand Gaube, guests are transferred from the parking area to the lobby for check-in before being whisked away to their vibrant rooms. Surrounding the lobby is Café LUX*, where guests can relax after a long flight and enjoy a welcome drink.

Located in the adult-only area of the resort, these spacious suites offer unparalleled comfort with outdoor standalone tubs, jacuzzis, and shaded seating areas with chaise longues.
6 Family Suites
These suites are ideal for families and include a king-size bed, a large sofa bed, and the option for rollaway beds. The terrace provides a perfect relaxation spot.
2 Ocean Villas
Designed by Kelly Hoppen, these two-bedroom villas provide a private retreat featuring a pool, sun deck, tropical indoor bathrooms, and a neutral color palette with sea green accents. Manicured gardens and a 100 sqm villa overlook the Indian Ocean.

Notable exceptions
- LUX* Grand Gaube is a beach resort in North Mauritius, not a safari lodge — game-drive, walking-safari and private-vehicle fields do not apply. The resort welcomes all ages: PLAY Kids Club caters for children aged 3–11 and Studio 17 Teens Club for 12–17 year olds. Babysitting is available on request with 24 hours' notice at extra cost (one sitter per two children under 10, or 1:1 for babies/toddlers). Family Rooms are offered as a dedicated family unit.
