Day 1-2: Windhoek - NamibRand Nature Reserve

Your flying safari starts in Windhoek, taking to the skies for a flight to Kwessi Dunes in the striking NamibRand Nature Reserve. As you approach your destination, your eyes will catch the iconic blood-red dunes with vast desert plains and mountains as a backdrop.

Enjoy the next two nights at the classic canvas-and-thatch lodge in the heart of the NamibRand Nature Reserve and reconnect with the wild as you escape the modern world. The comfortable chalet includes a separate "star gazer" room, open to the sky for stunning stargazing opportunities.

Soak up every opportunity to explore the vast desert vista with a day trip to Sossusvlei, morning and afternoon scenic drives, and walks in the NamibRand Reserve, and quad biking for the adrenaline seekers.

Day 3-4: NamibRand Nature Reserve - North-West Namibia

After an early morning breakfast, take a flight towards the Atlantic Coast, where you will spot the Eduan Bohen—one of the most famous shipwrecks on the coastline—along with Conception Bay and Sandwich Harbour.

Touch down in Swakopmund for a seafood lunch and a quick tour of this quaint town before continuing the journey north along the coastline. Appreciate the power of the Atlantic from the air as you glimpse the remnants of shipwrecks below before heading inland towards the Hoanib Valley.

Arrive in north-western Namibia, one of the most remote and wild environments. Hoanib Valley Camp is an elegant, intimate camp allowing immersion into the stunning desert. Enjoy the comforts of your tented camp among the towering mountains and sand dunes.

Your days will be filled with experiences ranging from desert game drives searching for desert-adapted giraffe, elephant, lion, and rhino, to time spent with the local Himba communities.

Day 5-6: North-West Namibia - Skeleton Coast Park

After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive as you pass stunning rock formations and large herds of desert elephants digging for water, following the Hoarisub River where the Clay Castles, a remarkable geological formation, can be found. Arrive at the white sand dunes of Skeleton Coast with waves for a stay uniquely designed to resemble the shipwrecks along the coastline.

Shipwreck Lodge is a peaceful retreat like nothing you have experienced on the continent. Skeleton Coast National Park is rich with wildlife, which you can experience with nature drives before setting your sights on the Clay Castles, a remarkable geological formation.
