10-Day Scenic Safari Through Zimbabwe

Day 1: Arrival in Victoria Falls & Flight to Hwange National Park

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA), you'll board a scenic light aircraft flight to Hwange’s Manga Airstrip. From there, a transfer will take you to the luxurious Somalisa Camp, nestled within Hwange National Park. Settle into your elegant tented suite and, time permitting, enjoy an afternoon game drive to start your safari experience.

Day 2: Exploring Hwange National Park

Today is dedicated to discovering the vast wilderness of Hwange, Zimbabwe’s largest national park. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives led by expert guides, with chances to spot elephants, lions, buffalo, and the elusive cheetah.

Optional walking safaris offer a chance to track wildlife on foot and learn more about the ecosystem. Return to camp to unwind and take in the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Day 3: From Hwange to Mana Pools

After breakfast, you’ll transfer back to Manga Airstrip for your flight to the Mana Main Airstrip. Upon arrival, a short transfer will take you to Nyamatusi Camp, an exclusive camp set along the Zambezi River in Mana Pools National Park.

Spend the afternoon relaxing in your luxurious tented suite or enjoy a sunset by the river, a perfect introduction to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 4: Safari Adventures in Mana Pools

Wake to the call of the wild and immerse yourself in the beauty of Mana Pools.

Your day will be filled with a variety of activities including guided walking safaris, thrilling game drives, and canoeing along the Zambezi River. This area is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and painted wolves, as well as its dramatic river landscapes.

Day 5: Journey to Lake Kariba

This morning, transfer back to Mana Main Airstrip for your flight to the Bumi Hills Airstrip, overlooking the vast expanse of Lake Kariba. A short road transfer brings you to the elegant Bumi Hills Safari Lodge.

After settling into your lakeview suite, enjoy a leisurely afternoon or opt for a relaxing sunset cruise on the lake.

Day 6–7: Leisure & Wildlife at Lake Kariba

Spend two full days enjoying the tranquil setting and wide range of activities offered at Bumi Hills. Choose from lake cruises, fishing trips, game drives, or walking safaris. You may also wish to indulge in spa treatments while soaking in the panoramic views of the lake.

With its peaceful ambiance and abundant wildlife, this is the perfect place to slow down and connect with nature.

Day 8: Flight to Victoria Falls & Transfer to The Elephant Camp

After breakfast, you’ll board a flight from Bumi Hills back to Victoria Falls. Upon landing, a road transfer will take you to The Elephant Camp, located just outside the town and offering sweeping views of the Batoka Gorge.

Settle into your luxurious suite and enjoy the serene surroundings with possible encounters with the camp’s resident wildlife.

Day 9: Discovering Victoria Falls

Today, enjoy a guided tour of the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The rest of your day is free for optional activities such as a helicopter flight over the Falls, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, or a cultural village visit.

Return to The Elephant Camp for a peaceful evening under the stars.

Day 10: Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll be transferred by road to Victoria Falls International Airport for your onward flight. Depart with unforgettable memories of Zimbabwe’s diverse landscapes, exceptional wildlife, and warm hospitality.
