Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at MalaMala Game Reserve
Embark on your flight from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport to Skukuza Airport. On arrival, meet the representative who will transfer you to the stunning MalaMala Camp. Settle into your luxury room, offering comfort and breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness.
After a light lunch, meet your experienced ranger and embark on your first afternoon game drive in an open 4-wheel-drive safari vehicle. Marvel at the diverse wildlife, including potential sightings of the Big Five, as the bush comes alive in the golden glow of sunset. Stop for sundowners in the wild before continuing the drive into the evening, searching for nocturnal animals.
Return to camp for a gourmet dinner under the stars and relax to the sounds of the African night.
Day 2: Wildlife & Luxury
Awake to the gentle call of the wild and head out on a morning game drive to explore the expansive reserve. Your ranger will track wildlife, providing insights into animal behavior and the intricate ecosystem. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the camp afterward.
Mid-morning, stop for coffee in the bush and soak in the tranquility of your surroundings. Return to camp for lunch and leisure time, during which you can unwind on the camp's deck or enjoy a beverage of your choice.
In the late afternoon, embark on another exhilarating game drive. Witness the transition from day to night as predators prepare for the hunt. Return to camp to enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the lounge and a sumptuous meal paired with fine South African wines.
Day 3: Nature Walk & Departure
Start your final day with an early morning game drive, experiencing the wildlife at its busiest, gathering food before the African sun is out.
After the game drive, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before packing and preparing for your departure. You will be transferred back for your flights to Johannesburg, OR Tambo, concluding an unforgettable Big 5 safari experience filled with luxury, adventure, and unparalleled wildlife sightings.
