Embark on a safari adventure of a lifetime with 5 days spent exploring Mala Mala Game Reserve - one of Africa's most pristine game reserves situated in the Sabi Sands. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve shares an open border with Kruger National Park, allowing free movement of wildlife, including the Big Five. Mala Mala, the oldest reserve in Sabi Sands, offers 37,065 acres of exclusive traversing land.
Your safari adventure starts in Johannesburg with a flight from OR Tambo International Airport to Skukuza Airport. On arrival, you will be met and transferred by road to MalaMala Camp. Be sure to look out for animals along the way.
After settling into your luxury room and having lunch, you will venture out on your first afternoon game drive in the African bush. Be sure to have your camera ready as your guide and tracker take you off-road in search of the Big Five and other interesting animals and bird species.
Upon your return to MalaMala Camp and a quick freshening up, dinner is served in the reed-enclosed boma under an ancient jackalberry tree. Alternatively, when the weather is suitable, a candlelit dinner is served on the safari deck overlooking the Sand River. While seated around a log fire under the starry African sky, enjoy the superb food and excellent wines—yet another highlight of the MalaMala experience.

During your stay at MalaMala Camp, you will embark on exhilarating dawn and dusk open-vehicle game drives led by highly trained guides and trackers who are passionate about wildlife and conservation. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the bush on foot, learning about the fauna and flora that make up this pristine wilderness.
Relaxation is important between game drives, so relax beside the pool or rest in your lodge room.

This morning, you will bid farewell to your safari adventure. After a morning activity and breakfast, you'll say farewell to the African bush. Depart MalaMala Game Reserve by returning to Skukuza Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.

Booking process was simple with good communication
Booking process was simple with good, timely communication from Candice. She advised which airports would have better access and adjusted the arrival/departure times I had in mind. I was presented with lots of options which instilled confidence that I would select the best choice for us. Can't wait!
