Accommodation
Accommodation at Tshugulu Lodge provides for up to twelve guests in the house that sleeps eight and a cottage that sleeps four. The lodge is located in the Western section of the Park approximately 23km from the Main Gate along the R572 Pondrift Road.
- Four-bed Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, each room has an en-suite bathroom. The cottage is air-conditioned and has a fully equipped open plan kitchen, television with DSTV (limited channels) and a braai area.
- Eight-bed Guest House has 4 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and two with 2 single beds. All the rooms have an en-suite bathroom. The guest house is air-conditioned and has a fully equipped open plan kitchen, television with DSTV (limited channels) and a braai area.
Activities & Facilities
The house and the cottage share a swimming pool. Guests can enjoy the birds, doing self-drive game viewing with a trip through the nearly mountain pass.The lodge is only fenced to prevent Elephant from coming into the camp, this does not mean other animals cannot enter, precaution needs to be taken and it is advisable to move outside your accommodation or braai area at nightThere are no facilities at this camp. No cell phone reception, filling station, restaurant or shop.

We do not take rest camp bookings. What our safari specialists do arrange is South Africa's private reserves: private lodges where expert guiding, meals and game drives are included, and nothing is left to the camp kitchen. We look after international travellers and SADC residents alike, and many lodges offer reduced SADC rates.
