"We had a fantastic stay at Africa on Foot, all the staff, facility, food and drinks were great! The Bush walk - seeing things never be able to recognize from a jeep was amazing. Thanks so much - we will never forget the stay. Especially the Elephant pool (or hippo)."

"We had a great 3 night stay at Africa on foot--the facilities were lovely (outdoor shower!) and the walking component of the safari was a unique and well worth the stay. The staff were great; they were interesting and totally accessible, and we learned so much during our trip! The food was excellent and more than accommodating of special diet needs. Leaving the camp felt like leaving old friends and we definitely recommend staying at Africa on Foot -be sure to book a night in the treehouse!"

"We were warmly received. We had a wonderful time. Saw the big 5 and much more. Would recommend to anyone who can walk quietly for 2 or 3 hrs. You need to be able to climb into a 4x4 vehicle. The camp is rustic, but this is part of the experience."

"A lovely boutique hotel with large, classic and clean rooms and wonderful staff members who go beyond and above duty to exceed guests expectations. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. Excellent amenities in room. King size bed with large television. Immaculately presented."

"We decided to stay at Africa on Foot because of the reviews describing very good sightings of the big five. We were not disappointed. The staff at the camp were friendly and helpful and provided us with excellent meals. The accommodation was simple but clean and comfortable. But it was the game drives that really made for a memorable trip. Over the two days we saw all of the big five. It was the sightings of the leopards on the second drive that stood out as the experience. Two adult leopards had stored their kills in the same tree. We got to watch some of the confrontation. They didn't fight but they prowled around and growled at each other. There was much climbing of the tree, only a few meters away from us. Thanks to Mike and Enoch for the game drives and thanks to all the staff for making our stay one which will be remembered for a very long time."

"We stayed 3 nights at Nthambo Tree Camp and 2 nights at Africa on Foot Camp. We were lucky enough to see all the Big 5 thanks to wonderful tracking and advice from Rangers. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend this to anyone - especially with teenage kids - mine had a fabulous time!"

"I spent four nights at the camp, and really enjoyed it. Bruce and Judy are so welcoming, and can't do enough for their guests. Their knowledge of the country, its plants and wildlife are extensive, and they use this to seek out as many of the wild animals as can be found in the area. The food is great, usually eaten on the deck hence one can view the comings and goings at the waterhole, but under cover when the weather turns inclement, even on the veranda when there were only two guests to cater for. They had big problems with power failures, firstly due to a fire nearby, then compounded by the first big thunderstorm of the season, but coped very well and cheerfully in difficult circumstances."

"We had an absolutely phenomenal time at nThambo! The whole team, especially Kevin, Isaac and Chad, made us feel so welcome and were full of great stories and bizarre animal facts. Judging by other reviews and the photos etc. of the camp, we expected our experience to be excellent, but it was even better than expected. Despite dense foliage following a very wet season, we saw all big 5 (and cheetahs!) and even spent an afternoon sitting among a huge herd of elephants (with very young calf's)... and the elephants really do walk through the camp - they came to graze in between the tree-houses every evening! Not only was the game-viening fantastic, but the room and bathroom (complete with friendly resident tree frog) was really comfortable and the food was right on the nail (delicious and varied but not too adventurous for those not so keen on wild game). We have already recommended a stay here (3 nights was ideal) to anyone who will listen - thank you very much for such a magical experience!"

"The location, accommodation, friendliness of the staff and knowledge of the rangers made this an unforgettable adventure. On foot as well as jeep safaris are available and dining is done on a long table, so all guests can share their daily stories together. Very sociable. There is also one treehouse available as accommodation which I had the pleasure to use for 2 nights. An incredible experience which I can highly recommend. Full five stars from me!"

"We staid for four nights at the camp and experienced one of our best times we ever had in holiday trips. We specifically liked the living in nature, the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff as well as the ability of the rangers to show and explain the wildlife. Furthermore to sit in the evenings together with other guests for dinner around the fire and exchange impressions from the day is a lovely experience. We can recommend "Africa on Foot" to 100%."
