"Keep up the good work."
"The food was good but it can be better. We are just to take our food by our self but at Gomo Gomo the personal gave you food every meal. But of course we want to come back for the ranger and the tracker were wery proffesional."
- Sara Cardell

"An excellent way to spend the last 3days of a 6week trip overseas trip from NZ. Great to see all the Big 6 including leopard in the wild and not in a zoo! plus many species of smaller animals and an amazing range of birds. The staff were very helpful and very friendly, the food and the accommodation was excellent. pplenty of activities and also time to relax."
- Gary Dent
"We stayed 2 nights and were the only locals during the time. The staff were extremely helpfull and friendly. The food was of good quality and portioned just right. The rooms were great. The wild life experience was fenominal; we saw more than one leopard on the 2nd night and came in close contact with the wild. Thank you for a great stay we will be back. Thank you for the staff for being such good ambasadors for SA."

"A VERY great BUSH experience! As S.A. residents we treat ourselves once a year to a experience like this. I say TREAT because the middle class South African cannot afford such a treat. G.G. should have specials for S.A. residents. WELL DONE! the Staff were fantastic!!! 5 Star rating for them. As a chef myself, the meals were well prepared and presented for the facility rating. The housekeeping was also exceptional for the rating. The activities were of a high standard and well executed (awesome sightings!)On the negative side, as locals who run businesses NO TELECOMS! we had to ride into H.S. to do urgent business, and then had to pay the entrance fees again.Due to heat, I do recomend bar fridges in the chalets, one does not always want to sit at the bar, but relax to the STOEP in your own space. OVERALL yes We would return for another visit. WELL DONE GOMO GOMO! Sue Meintjes and party!"

"The place and staff are exceptional. I had one small problem though which probably only occurred in my unique situation. Accompanying me were one male friend from Holland and a couple from Denmark. I had to pass the couple's room to get to my room which was an uncomfortable situation. Otherwise it was a great experience. Also the first time I managed to see the Big 5 on a single trip."
- Noore Nacerodien
"An awesome experience. Game drives with an experienced tracker and ranger who are passionate about the bush and animals. You will have elephant walk up to the vehicle. We saw, leopard, lion, buffalo, elephant, rhino, and hippo on the first day. The accommodation was amazing. We ate more than we should have. The short bush walks around the camp were a plus. Rian our ranger made them an exceptional learning experience, passing on his knowledge of traditional medical and other uses of fauna and flora. The rooms are on the waterhole and we watched elephants, buck and a hippo from our bed. The Rangers are very safety conscious and a three day stay is perfect. This is a life time memory."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days at the Gomo Gomo lodge. The accommodations were outstanding. The game drives were definitely the highlight, although game sightings were limited due to rainy weather every day. But, bad weather is something that is not predictable. Ross was a great and really nice and very knowledgeable guide. The bush walks I did with him were terrific. Only downside was two jeeps stuck in the mud on two of the game drives. The first one provided a unique memory and story for me to tell, the second one, not so much. But again, that was a function of bad weather. Food was great! The entire staff was first class all the way!"

"this is a very nice and small lodge, the personnel is amazing, mostly the guides. We saw all the big fives.Concerning improvment, they should replace the acrual Air conditionning, the one they have is too small , and they should have AC in all rooms, presently there ac only in the main bedroom so I finish my nights sleeping on the main bedroom floor....Concerning food not great at all, too heavy and not international. We had chicken pie one night and beef pie the next day. We would of appreciated light meals, some salads, grilled fish or chicken. They should avoid chicken livers, 90% of the guest (foreigners) did not eat it.The food is bristish type and suit for cold weather not 45C and lack of choices"
- Paule J Drainville
"The experience at Gomo Gomo was excellent. The game drives were good and we saw 4 of the big 5 along with many other species and birds. Overall the lodge is great and good value for money. The meals are good however a bit limited for choice. I would recommend this resort to anyone."

"Gomo Gomo has some great things going for it. The lodge's watering hole view is fabulous. THROUGHLY enjoyed it. We picked the lodge because of it. Our room was terrific. But... overall, the place needs to be run more like a lodge than a camp. The rangers are expected to be bartenders, room escorts at night and a host of other things. It falls short of what a lodge should be. Every night we got back to a lodge that was cold, both doors open with a mighty cold draft running through... how about turning on the fireplace??? The food is not a chef's work. It fell very short of our expectations... I mean, early in the am... could we at least get some warm muffins??? And, how about a little variety in the bakery dept??? How about having water available at all hours? The Boma was too cold for our taste. Heat lamps are sorely needed. The food would get cold shortly after it hit the plate. On the game drives we expected water...started bringing our own since none was provided. We had not really expected to be charged for the beers on the drives. We were asked, What do you want to drink? We thought it was complimentary. It's little things like that that turn a good experience a little sour. The game drives were obvioulsy why we were there... and we had a good one and then a few disappointing ones until our last three. Riaan (spelling?)was a fabulous ranger. Bernard is a doll, but needs a little more experience. Fortunately, these are an easy fix. We would recommend with caveats."

"We stayed 2 nights (4 game drives). Our guide the first day was ok. The second day we were obliged to change to the other group on the last minute (no reason given) and the new guide was just horrible. He was chatting with his partner and driving - nothing else. Definitely not checking if there were animals around. The drives were a waste of time/money. We complained to the management right away but they didn't do anything. No reason given. We had to chase them and ask them 5 times (following them) as they were just ignoring us! They charge a lot of money for not providing a service. The guide didn't understand that it was not just a taxi ride but an animal-spotting exercise... In sum, we didn't receive the service we paid for. Poor value for money and a waste of time. Very expensive for a bad service. We went to Kruger (inside) afterwards and saw many more animals in a much better atmosphere and half the price. There are plenty of lodges in the area - just pick up another one!"
