The luxury alternative

If you would rather not self-cater.

We do not take rest camp bookings. What our safari specialists do arrange is the Garden Route: private lodges where expert guiding, meals and game drives are included, and nothing is left to the camp kitchen. We look after international travellers and SADC residents alike, and many lodges offer reduced SADC rates.

Rated 4/5 · ALISON SHEARD · 12 March 2016

Our chalet never got much Sun and was chilly most day. 13A it was the Bush needs cutting back so Sun can get there. Very nice two days.

Rated 5/5 · Fiona David · 9 March 2016

We enjoyed this so much that we went back the following week. Stayed in a honeymoon chalet and one of the Oceanettes. This is one of the jewels of the wonderful Cape coastline and the Gorge is incredibly beautiful. Two great guides, Fabian and Tate, took us on the canoeing trip which is easy and fun. The restaurant is very good. I recommend the chartreuse - had it twice! Great service too. The only drawback is the unnecessarily laborious process of checking-in and out. Loved the beach too!

Rated 5/5 · Adrienne Murray · 8 March 2016

Our stay was entirely satisfactory. The chalet was comfortable and well equipped, the scenery was lovely, the shop was well stocked and we had a relaxed and enjoyable visit

Rated 5/5 · Lazinda McLeod · 7 March 2016

Rated 4/5 · Lynn Gouws · 3 March 2016

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was neat and well kept. We did not however have an inventory in our chalet and we did not have glass bowls to use in the micro. Other than that No problems .

Rated 4/5 · Lynn Gouws · 3 March 2016

The loose standing cottage with full ocean view is on the beach with a convenient stoep and private braai area that we used every day. Lovely and clean, good quality bedding, and daily friendly staff that clean the place. The kitchen has everything you need. The only possible improvement I can suggest is a new mattress is needed.

Rated 5/5 · Anne Eglington · 19 February 2016

We thought that our cottage was wonderful and the setting by the ocean just spectacular. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant in the Park was excellent and again a stunning location. Our only complaint would be the laborious administration getting into the Park gates and checking in. It was VERY slow and unnecessarily so. Quite expensive, but we didn't mind as exchange rate so good and money going to a good cause.

Rated 5/5 · Jurgen Gleue · 16 February 2016

Excellent As refers to quality and price level.

Rated 5/5 · carol albrecht · 14 February 2016

The chalet was clean and comfortable, the view was absolutely stunning. The restaurant is good, but if you want to have a braai take your own meat, the supplies at the shop are limited.

Rated 4/5 · Tammy van Zyl · 6 February 2016

We enjoyed our stay with you, a bit pricey for what we got. The hiking trails are in average shape, disappointed to see trash stashed, empty water bottles and even an empty champagne bottle with glasses behind a bench.

Rated 5/5 · Richard Cave · 5 February 2016

Thank you for a great stay, pity about the rain but really welcomed.

Rated 5/5 · Leite Johannette · 1 February 2016

All apartments were located excellent so that you have perfect view of the sea. The rooms and facilities were outstanding. Only negative thing is that you park far from the chalets at the oceanfronts apartments.

We had a fantastic stay at Storms River Mouth Rest Camp, the campsite is very well equipped and in a beautiful location. The bathrooms are clean, in good working condition with hot water, and the scullery and laundry area have everything a camper needs, including communal chest freezer. The park has a wide variety of beautiful hikes and stunning bird life, including the rare African Black Oyster Catcher, a must for bird lovers. Thank you to SANParks and keep up the good work, we will certainly return!

Rated 5/5 · Jan Coetzer · 4 August 2015

After our first experience of Tsitsikamma, many years ago, we were pleasantly surprised to find the place still to be: - Very neat and clean - Exceptionally well managed - no sign of matters deteriorating as generally as so many other similar resorts in our country - professional and friendly service at reception - well mannered and trained cleaning staff Overall therefore a resort that we can be proud of and to be promoted to everybody.

Rated 5/5 · WILLEM SWANEPOEL · 24 July 2015

The accommodation was clean and well serviced, the views superb and the shop was well stocked to cater for those that had forgotten to pack anything. The Restaurant was efficient and the food good. In general the facilities and the campsite were extremely well managed and tidy. A great stop on the Garden Route and well worth at least a two night stay.
