Day 1: Arrival in Chobe – Ngoma Safari Lodge

Your adventure begins at Kasane Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to Ngoma Safari Lodge, an intimate retreat in an area often called the Eden of Africa.

Perched high above the Chobe River and its vast floodplains, the lodge offers breathtaking panoramic views.

Your spacious suite, complete with a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, and floor-to-ceiling windows, offers a front-row seat to one of Africa’s greatest elephant populations. After settling in, embark on your first afternoon safari before enjoying a fine dining experience under the African night sky.

Days 2: Chobe River & Game Drive Adventures

Begin with an early morning wake-up call and light breakfast before heading out for a game drive in Chobe National Park, home to elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, and an astonishing array of birdlife.

Return to the lodge for a hearty brunch and leisure time, perhaps cooling off in the pool overlooking the Chobe River floodplains or simply relaxing on your private deck as wildlife roams below.

In the late afternoon, gather in the main area for tea before heading out on another unforgettable safari experience, perfectly timed for golden-hour photography and the tranquil magic of dusk in the African wilderness.

Day 3 - 4: Journey to the Okavango Delta

After a final breakfast with views of the Chobe River, transfer to Kasane for your scenic flight into the Khwai Concession. Your next stop, Machaba Camp, sits beneath the shade of sycamore figs along the Khwai River.

The camp’s tented suites evoke the classic 1950s safari style, featuring en-suite bathrooms, private verandas, and vintage-inspired furnishings. Days are spent on game drives, Mokoro excursions, and birdwatching, while evenings bring candlelit dinners and the sounds of the bush all around.

Day 5 - 6: Deeper into the Delta

Fly further into the Delta to Gomoti Plains Camp, nestled alongside the Gomoti River system, with floodplains strewn with towering palm trees. This area is famed for its predator sightings, including wild dogs, large lion prides, cheetah, and leopards, along with big buffalo herds.

The spacious luxury tents feature hardwood decks, stylish interiors, and en-suite bathrooms with both indoor and outdoor showers. Activities range from water-based safaris (seasonal) to walking safaris, game drives, and night drives in the private concession.

Day 7 - 8: Remote Wilderness

This morning you'll head off to Kiri Camp, a secluded hideaway on the edge of the Kiri River. Each elevated tented suite offers panoramic views, private decks, and airy interiors designed to bring the outside in.

The surrounding concession is rich in wildlife, including rare wild dogs, and is renowned for dramatic lion–buffalo encounters. Here, you can enjoy off-road game drives, night drives, and seasonal boating safaris that explore the Delta’s hidden channels and islands.

Day 9: Farewell to Botswana

After a final morning safari and breakfast, transfer by scenic flight to Maun for your onward journey. Depart with vivid memories of Botswana’s untamed beauty and its unforgettable wildlife encounters.
