Kieliekrankie Wilderness Camp
A SANParks self-catering camp.
Perched high on a dune, Kieliekrankie has uninterrupted and panoramic views of the Kalahari park. In this unfenced camp, you can view the sunrise and the sunset from your brick and canvas cabin. Each cabin has a view over the waterhole allowing you to watch the daily wildlife activity. Only an hour-and-a-half drive from Twee Rivieren and accessible by a sedan vehicle this wilderness camp is a unique experience.
We do not take rest camp bookings. Camps are booked directly with SANParks, where current tariffs are published.

About Kieliekrankie Wilderness Camp.
Accommodation
Situated on the Southern Dune road, Kieliekrankie is easily accessible from Twee Rivieren where you will check-in. Guest to provide own charcoal or firewood and drinking water. The camp is not fenced and there is a Camp Attendant on duty at all times
- Two-bed Dune Cabin and a bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with toilet and shower. A fully equipped kitchen with gas fridge/freezer. A large wooden deck with a braai area. Gas is used for hot water and and solar energy for lighting. There are no conventional plug point.
Activities & Facilities
Exceptional self drive game viewing opportunities in the area, floodlit waterhole and it offers a great landscape and opportunity for star photography.
Fuel and shop purchases can be done at Twee Rivieren.

We do not take rest camp bookings. What our safari specialists do arrange is the private Kalahari reserves: private lodges where expert guiding, meals and game drives are included, and nothing is left to the camp kitchen. We look after international travellers and SADC residents alike, and many lodges offer reduced SADC rates.
