Twee Rivieren Rest Camp
A SANParks self-catering camp.
In a setting such as the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, where striking red sand dunes are offset by sparse, hardy vegetation and resilient desert wildlife, Twee Rivieren camp possesses the character and stature of a desert camp to be remembered. This camp is the administrative headquarters of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park as a whole, and the largest rest camp within its borders.
We do not take rest camp bookings. Camps are booked directly with SANParks, where current tariffs are published.

About Twee Rivieren Rest Camp.
Accommodation
Camp sites each have a braai area and shared water tap. Communal ablution, laundry tubs and ironing facilities (no irons provided). There are camp sites with one electrical power point per site and sites without power points. Note, internal roads are not suitable for sedan vehicles.
- Three-bed Family Cottage is an open plan unit with kitchen (fully equipped) and sleeping are combined. There are 3 single beds, bathroom and air-conditioner. Note, internal roads are not suitable for sedan vehicles.
- Four-bed Family Cottage has a bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 single beds in the kitchen. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Fully equipped kitchen with a 2 plate stove and a fridge/freezer. The unit is air-conditioned. Note, internal roads are not suitable for sedan vehicles.
- Six-bed Family Chalets has two bedrooms, each with two single beds. The air conditioned living room has two additional single beds in teh lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a two plate stove and fridge-freezer combination. Bathrooms have toilet and shower. Note, internal roads are not suitable for sedan vehicles.
Activities & Facilities
Sunrise and sunset drives are available at Twee Rivieren, enquiries need to be made at reception. A minimum of 2 guests. Drives are not always available due to availability of staff members, the schedule for when drives are going out is available at reception.
Twee Rivieren is the administrative headquarters of the park as well as being the largest of the camps.
It offers a swimming pool, restaurant that serves breakfast and a-la-carte dinners, a shop which stocks basic commodities, ATM and fuel station. There is cell phone reception at this camp.

We do not take rest camp bookings. What our safari specialists do arrange is the private Kalahari reserves: private lodges where expert guiding, meals and game drives are included, and nothing is left to the camp kitchen. We look after international travellers and SADC residents alike, and many lodges offer reduced SADC rates.
